Brows

Pre appointment;

  • Avoid using exfoliants, retinoids, or AHAs on your face for one to two weeks before your brow lamination. If you don’t, it could cause a skin tear or graze.

  • Avoid chemical peels, microdermabrasion, hydra facial, derma planing,  laser treatment, or any kind of chemical/deep exfoliating facials for 21 days before your appointment.
  • Avoid tweezing at least two weeks prior to your appointment, this way you will get the best result possible with your brow shape/treatment.

  • Please come to your appointment without any makeup on your face.

  • Must have stopped using Accutane for at least 1 year. You may schedule a brow tweeze as an alternative option.

Post Care –

  • Avoid manually exfoliating the brow area for a week after your wax, waxing is a form of exfoliation itself, if you manually exfoliate after waxing you could cause a burn.

  • Avoid retinol, glycolic, salicylic acid or any other chemical exfoliation for a week after your waxing service.

  • Do not workout immediately after waxing, allow a few hours for the pores to close before sweating to avoid a skin reaction.

  • Keep the skin clean and dry daily as the pores can fill easier with dirt and debris after a fresh wax, using a toner is recommended.

  • Avoid heavy creams and ointments on the skin immediately after, unless instructed by your artist if treating any small areas.

  • We do not recommend maintaining your freshly shaped brows at home, as it could regenerate the hair growth cycle and cause the hair to grow back in quicker. It is best to maintain your scheduled appointments every 4-6 weeks. Do not pick or tweeze the brows in-between visits.
