Lash Extensions

To prepare for your eyelash extensions new set and top-up appointments, please keep the following in mind:

  1. Do not perm or LVL your lashes a month before your lash extension appointment.
  2. If you have lash extensions from another salon, they need to be removed. Please let us know in advance that you’ll need an additional time booked for your lash removal.
  3. On the day of your appointment do not drink coffee and energy drinks. They cause eye twitching and makes the application more difficult.
  4. Do not wear strip lashes or cluster lashes for at least 2 days before your appointment. Strip lash glue is very difficult to remove and if it remains on your eyelashes, that can interrupt with how well they last.
  5. Please remove your eye makeup and arrive to your appointment without any eye make-up, especially a heavy mascara. Properly remove all eye make-up, using an oil-free makeup remover. The time spent on removing make-up will be included in the appointment duration resulting in less lash application time.
  6. If you wear contact lenses please take them out and bring your glasses with you. It is important to have your lenses removed during the application process. You shouldn’t wear them for 24 hours after your appointment.
  7. Bath, shower or wash your hair before your appointment. Your new lashes shouldn’t get wet or damp for 24 hours after the application.
  8. For 24 hours following the application, do not wear any makeup, visit sauna, swimming pool, or get a spray tan.
  9. Your eyelash extensions should be washed with an Eyelash extensions foaming wash or shampoo, these can be purchased from us, or online. Washing your extensions with water alone will not effectively remove grease, sebum, bacteria, and debris buildup. This may lead to bacterial infections and poor eyelash retention.
  10. If you plan a holiday, an event or any special occasion please be advised to let your new lashes set properly for 1-2 days before any plane flights, application of makeup etc. Please plan your schedule in advance.
